30/06/2009: DWL on Sheffield Live!


Dead World Leaders have just come off air after talking to the lovely people at Sheffield Live! You can listen to the show by going to the Sheffield Live website.

The whole show is also available here as a free mp3 download. This edition features an interview with Dan and Rob where they talk about upcoming projects, the impending Tramlines festival and why Rob shaves his arms.




26/06/2009: Dead World Leaders to play Tramlines!


Dead World Leaders will be joining the line up for this years Tramlines festival which also includes Reverend and the Makers, The La's, Toddla T, The Noisettes, Little Boots, The Rascals and many more.

The festival will be held at venues across Sheffield over the weekend of July 24th-26th.

Sorry everyone, unfortunately the Plug gig on 19th June has been cancelled due to happenings beyond our control - if anyone has already bought tickets from The Bowery you can get a refund from there.

Cheers to everybody who joined us in Birmingham at the weekend for Wonky Hi-Fi. We all had a top time and are looking forward to playing alongside The Violet May again in the near future, hope you all enjoyed it!

Thanks to everyone who came along to the Boardwalk last night to support Breast Cancer Care and enjoy a top night of music. We hope you all enjoyed it - lots of money was raised for a great cause!




29/05/2009: Join us for Pink Rock!


Don't forget Pink Rock is happening this Saturday (May 30th) at The Boardwalk in Sheffield! Joining Dead World Leaders on the bill are Mybe and Jackson Caged.

There will also be DJ sets from Seven by Seven, James O'Hara and Raw Talent's Iain Hodgson and Shamir Masri. Doors open 7.30pm and it's all in aid of Breast Cancer Care.




25/05/2009: Schedule Change


Unfortunately the impending Storm gig in London on June 3rd has had to be postponed until further notice. But the upcoming Boardwalk and Wonky Hi-Fi gigs are still going ahead as planned.

19/05/2009: Pink Rock and join us on the Road to Wonky!

If you hadn't already heard the word... Dead World Leaders are headlining the fast approaching Pink Rock event at the Boardwalk in Sheffield on Saturday 30th May.

You can grab your tickets from The Bowery (Devonshire Street) and Jacks Records (Division Street) for a very reasonable £5.

This really is not a night to miss and it's all in the aid of Breast Cancer Research so make sure you come along and join us.

Also...

There's been a lot of interest in the Wonky Hi-Fi gig in Birmingham on Saturday 6th June - So an ingenious plan has been hatched involving a minibus.

Anyone who's interested in joining us on the trip down and back send us a message on Facebook with the words "WONKY DONKEY" in the title or come along to www.deadworldleaders.com/forum and drop us a line.

Unfortunately we can't do it for free, but the journey there and back should be worth any small charge to cover the costs. Not to mention you get to see some great bands including Violet May.

Oh, and Dead World Leaders.




12/05/2009: Important Schedule Change


The upcoming date at Storm in London has now been rescheduled to Wednesday June 3rd! All the details are the same, just a change in the date, plus it's near pay day so come celebrate!

17/03/2009: Dead World Leaders take over the airwaves!


This Thursday evening (19th March) tune into BBC Radio Sheffield to hear what DWL get up to when they take over Raw Talent for the night. Expect to hear a full live set of the newest tracks and hear the song choices of DWL when they get to play with the shows tracklist!

You can tune in to Raw Talent on 104.1, 88.6 and 94.7FM if you live in Sheffield, but everyone can listen to the show via DAB Digital Radio or by listening online through the BBC Radio Sheffield website:
